The Jame' Asr Hassanil Bolkiah Mosque, built to commemorate the 25th anniversary of His Majesty the Sultan's reign, is the largest and arguably the most magnificent structure in Brunei. With its intricately ornamented minarets and shimmering golden domes clearly visible along the main route into town from the airport, the Kiarong Mosque (as it is locally known) towers over landscaped terrain dotted with fountains. This famous Brunei mosque, located at the Gadong area, has become one of the most famous tourist attractions in Brunei.

Visiting hours :-

Sunday to Wednesday: 8.00am to 12.00pm, 2.00pm to 3.00pm and 5.00pm to 6.00pm

The mosque is closed to non-Muslims on Thursdays. It is open on Saturday provided that there is no official function the following day.
