One good place to
view the Istana Nurul Iman, especially at night,
is from Taman Persiaran Damuan (Damuan Park), the palm-tree
studded park that ambles along the river bank on Jalan Tutong. Because of the magnificent view it
provides, this park is one of the popular places
of interest in Brunei. A popular early evening venue for
joggers and strollers, the Damuan features paved
walkways, outdoor sculptures by ASEAN artists on
the theme of Unity and Diversity, and al-fresco
dining at night.
