Tamu means market and Bandar Seri Begawan's tamu is on the banks of the Kianggeh River. Here at Kianggeh Market is where you will find a variety of local produce and a good shopping destination for some unique products. Among the interesting items that you may find at these markets are medicinal herbs and local delicacies.


Handicraft shoppers may find good bargains here at this Tamu Kianggeh. Good buys include traditional handicrafts such as tudung dulang (decorative food cover), pemarang (machet-like knife) and local foods like kueh cincin and jala. Tamu Kianggeh is open from early morning until late evening. Other tamu and night food stalls of interest are located in Gadong and opposite Terrace Hotel.
