Beihai Park (Bei Hai Park), covering an area of 68 hectares, was an imperial garden in the Liao (916-1125), Jin (1115-1234), Yuan (1271-1368), Ming (1368-1644) and Qing (1644-1911) dynasties and is a famous classical garden in China. This famous tourist attraction is located in the middle of Beijing and among its well known structures here are the Jade Islet, Beihai Lake and White Dagoba. The White Dagoba, which measures almost thirty-six meters high and was built in the early 1650s, can be seen on the Sumeru base built with bricks and stones.

Beihai Park, also known as the North Sea Park, is largely made up of North Sea Lake. With Jade Islet in the center, Beihai Park has temples in the south neatly arranged in the mountains. Located on the northern shore is the beautiful temple, Xitian Fanjing. Seen on the western part of the southern gate is the Circular City which is known as a small city in Beijing. The main attraction here is the Hall of Receiving Light, which is positioned in the center of the city, with its eight-hundred-year old pine tree from the Jin Dynasty. All the buildings in the park echo with each other, full of changes and interest with a relaxing atmosphere and locals can be seen coming here for a stroll throughout the day.
