On the western side
of the Military Museum of the Chinese People's
Revolution, the China Millennium Monument faces
the Beijing West Railway Station. It is a
memorial symbol structure to welcome the 21st
century. With an area of 35,000 sq m, the China
Millennium Monument combines the styles of
ancient altars and modern architectures, full of
the characteristics of the times and nation. It
is not only the eternal monument of the turn of
the century, but also the center for the
education of patriotism and cultural exchanges.
This Memorial Monument is a new addition to
Beijing's many world class attractions.
Transport:
Visitors can go to the Military Museum of the
Chinese People's Revolution by the subway or bus
No. 1, 4, 21, 57 or 337 and then walk about 50 m
to the west.
