JINGYUETAN SKIING GROUND IN CHANGCHUN

Jingyuetan Skiing Ground, about 8 km from the city of Changchun in Jilin province and in the forests south of the Jingyuetan Pond (the Clear Moon Pond), is the largest place for skiing in Asia which has a skiing course of about 1,800 meters long with a gentle slope and can accommodate more than one thousand people at any one time. Furthermore, the skiing ground also provides motor sleds, sledges drawn by dogs or horses and horserace on the snow-covered land. It is an ideal place for people to get together for sightseeing during winter and the winter attractions here will surely keep the visitors happy. Skiing in Changchun will change your skiing experiences forever.

 

Admission: 10 yuan; skiing charges: 40 yuan for 1 hour or 100 yuan for 4 hours; 50 yuan for a 10- minute sled ride

 

Transport: Visitors may get on the shuttle bus that travels from the People's Square and the skiing ground.
