JUZIZHOU ISLET IN CHANGSHA

Juzizhou Islet in Changsha is one of the most famous attractions in Hunan province. Located at the center of the Xiangjiang River in Changsha, Juzizhou Islet faces Changsha city in the east and Yuelu Mountain in the west. The islet is a picturesque park with beautiful pavilions and corridors. In the Juzizhou park stands a huge white marble stone monument which has a four Chinese characters inscribed on it meaning 'Juzizhou Islet', written by Chairman Mao Zedong together with a poem titled 'Qin Yuan Chun Changsha' which was also composed by Chairman Mao.

 

Transport: Visitors may get on tourist bus No. 3 to get there.
