WULING MOUNTAIN NATIONAL NATURE RESERVE IN CHENGDE

Wuling Mountain National Nature Reserve is located in the northwest of Xinglong County in Chengde and it is adjacent to Miyun County in Beijing. It is also about 130 km from Chengde City and 140 km from Beijing. This national nature reserve covers an area of 14 square km. Its main peak, Waitao Peak which is 2,116 meters above sea level, is also the main peak of the Yanshan Mountains. Wuling Mountain is also the 'No.1 Peak East of Beijing'.

 

Admission: 71 yuan

 

Transport: Visitors may travel along No. 101 national highway to Fuyingzi, then turn to the south to travel along No. 112 national highway to Xinglong County seat (tourists can also go to Xinglong County by train from Chengde), and then travel northwards to Wuling Mountain via Beishuiquan, Biandangou and Yanshi.
