Pengzhou Peony
Fair
Event: One of
the most celebrated festivals and grand
celebrations in Chengdu is the Pengzhou Peony
Fair. The
largest peony growing center in western China is
located at Pengzhou. Boasting a large selection
of varieties and a long cultivation history, the
peonies produced in Pengzhou is as popular as
those found in Luoyang.
Time: It is
an annual event held between April and May since
1985
