NATURAL HISTORY MUSEUM IN DALIAN

The Natural History Museum in Dalian which is located in the picturesque Black Reef Seashore was first built in 1998. With an area of 15,000 square meters, this history museum in Dalian is the largest museum of natural history in China with the most advanced display means. Over 100,000 specimens are on display at the museum in which many of items on exhibit are unique in the country with the likes of the black whale with exposed ridges weighing more than 60 tons and the fragrant shale of more than 40 tons.

 

Admission: 30 yuan

 

Transport: Visitors may get on trolley bus No. 202 or bus Nos. 32 and 406 or sightseeing bus No. 801.
