STARRY SEA SQUARE IN DALIAN

The Starry Sea Square, with an area of 1.1 million square meters, is the largest city square in Asia. It was first built to commemorate the return of Hong Kong. The largest white marble ornamental column in China is found in the middle of the Starry Sea Square. Also found circling the square is a large music fountain. Walking 500 meters from the center of the square to the north will take you to the Exhibition and Convention Center while you will reach the blue sea if you walk 500 meters to the south. The Central Road in the square is paved with red bricks and flanked by green grasses.   

 

Transport: Visitors may get on trolley bus Nos. 23 and 202 or bus Nos. 16, 28, 406, 711 and 801. Visitors will then have to get down at the Exhibition and Convention Center bus stop.
