Dunhuang Museum is a
comprehensive local museum with historical
relics as the mainstay. The main building has
three stories with an area of 2,400 square meters.
This museum in Dunhuang holds more than 4,000
antiques which is classified into 14 categories
under stone, pottery, porcelain, wooden objects,
scriptures, bamboo slips of the Han Dynasty, silk,
jewelry, painted bricks, calligraphy, painting,
rubbings, ancient coins, iron and copper objects.
