QINHUAI RIVER IN NANJING

The Qinhuai River, an important branch of the Yangtze River on the lower reaches, is divided into Inner Qinhuai and Outer Qinhuai rivers. The Outer Qinhuai River is the moat of the city which runs around the city and empties into the Yangtze River. The Inner Qinhuai River enters Nanjing from East Water Pass and runs out of the city from West Water Pass, totaling 5 kilometers long and hence the name 'Ten Li Qinhuai River'.

 

Transport: Visitors may get on special tourist bus No. 2 or 4.
