EIGHT IMMORTALS MOUNTAIN IN TIANJIN

Located about 35 km northeast of Jixian County seat, the Eight Immortals Mountain in Tianjin contains a secondary forest nature reserve covering an area of 10.493 million square meters. In this nature reserve, most forests are natural secondary forests and the forest coverage reaches eighty percent or higher. According to legends, when eight immortals pass through here they are attracted by the deep forests, long valleys, clean streams and other beautiful natural scenes and subsequently decided to sit around a huge rock for drinking and resting. Later the rock is famously known as the 'Eight Immortals Table' and the mountain is then named as the 'Eight Immortals Mountain'.

 

Admission: 25 yuan

 

Transport: Visitors may get on bus from Tianjin to Jixian County.
