Matsu Culture and
Tourism Festival in Tianjin
Event:
Tianjin is the center of the Matsu culture in
north China. The Matsu culture is one of the
important resources of the history and culture
of Tianjin. The saying of 'having the Goddess
Temple first and then Tianjin' proves the
importance of the Matsu culture in the
development of civilization of Tianjin. During
the festival, ceremony, folk demonstration, walk
on stilts, lamps show along the Haihe River,
temple fair, music, singing and dancing
performances will be held together with the
tourism and trade activities.
