An important aspect to check out when
looking for a digital camera is the size of the LCD or its LCD size. For
all its convenience, the LCD consumes precious battery power and can be
difficult to see in bright light. Having an alternative choice is
always useful in the form of either an optical viewfinder or
electronic viewfinder (EVF). The optical viewfinder does not require
power although it only shows you 75% to 90% of the actual picture. Where
else the EVF is like a miniaturized version of the LCD. Although it still
takes up some battery power but can be used in any lighting environment.
The EVF is usually preferred by most users since it shows the full
picture plus all the camera settings and indicators. |
