Depth Gauges - Scuba Gauges

To every scuba diver, the effects of time and depth is essential since there is certain information that is required on every dive such as the maximum depth reach during a particular dive. To obtain this information, depth gauges or scuba gauges are used because they will inform the diver of the maximum depth reached. A depth gauge have two pointers and the way this diving gauges functions is by having a main pointer moving up the scale and at the same time pushing the other secondary pointer ahead of it as the diver descends. Once the diver moves up towards the surface of the water, the main pointer moves back down the scale but this time the secondary pointer remains in its position and thus giving the maximum depth reached. Before the diver goes into the water for the second time, the secondary pointer has to be zeroed again.
