Asia offers many beautiful places for scuba diving and you can scuba dive with ease if you follow an easy guide to scuba diving. Two important things to know before you actually scuba dive is to have the correct equipment and proper training although scuba diving is a very safe sport but you still have to be prepared for all possibilities.

Having the correct scuba diving gear is vital because once you are inside the water, these diving equipment will become your lifeline since the underwater environment can be very unpredictable at times. Scuba Diving EquipmentThe breathing apparatus is the most important item because you have to take all the air you need with us when you dive below. This will let you have a longer and deeper dive than those enjoyed by a snorkeler who is dependant on the short pipe of his snorkel for his air supply. This breathing equipment is made up of a BCD, which is an expandable bladder which will help the diver achieve neutral bouyancy underwater, a mask which is to create an air space between the diver's eyes and the water to allow visibility, a rebreather which reuses part of each breath, a regulator which is connected to the tank to provide the diver air and a compressor which compresses air in order for more of it to be taken underwater in the tank. Wearing a good wetsuit is also important because it will give you protection for the skin. Wetsuits also provides warmth for the diver. Another important item is the fins which are worn on the feet. It main objective is to give propulsion to the diver and it can be worn with or without the boots. Another scuba diving accessory not to be missed is the diving knife which acts as a safety equipment for all divers and it also acts as a valuable multi-purpose tool and it is highly recommended that all diver carry a diving knife at all times since the underwater environment can be dangerous at times.
