time, Main Street USA in Hong Kong Disneyland,
the official entrance into Hong Kong Disneyland,
will bring you back to the days of life in a
typical American town in the early 1900s whereby
everything seems to slow down amid the smells of
an early American small town whereby shops and
restaurants together with lively marching bands
and parades will keep you occupy throughout the
day and the design is based on Walt Disney's
hometown of Marceline, Missouri whereby the
attractions in Main Street USA is simply unique.
Enjoy the ride
down the cowboy-town or see the park in one of
America's old mode of transportation. Your trip
is guaranteed to be enjoyable no matter what
type of old-fashioned transportation you choose,
be it in a steam train or other types of
traditional mode of transport. It is here in
the Main Street USA that you will find the City
Hall, the welcome center of Hong Kong Disneyland
and also a information centre whereby visitors
can get guide maps, make dining reservation,
exchange currency and get their enquiries answered
by the friendly staff here and it actually serve as
the park's administration headquarters.

For a grand circle
tour of Hong Kong Disneyland, catch the train
here at the Hong Kong Disneyland Railroad to
Fantasyland or sit back and enjoy a leisure ride
in a Paddy Wagon or a Main Street Taxi from Main
Street USA to Town Square. Traveling in the turn-
of-the-century Main Street Vehicles such as the
horse car, omnibus, jitney, horseless carriage,
fire engine and vintage car will be a once in a
lifetime opportunity. One of the main attractions
here is the the Sleeping Beauty Castle which stands
at the end of the street.
In between
sight-seeing along Main Street USA, visit the
Plaza Inn for traditional Cantonese cuisine or
Western dishes or the Market House Bakery for
some freshly baked European-style bread, cakes,
cookies and pastries. If you prefer authentic
Hong Kong-style noodles, then pay a visit to
the Main Street Corner Cafe. After filling your
stomach, then go for souvenirs hunting at the
Emporium or at the Main Street Sweets which is
definitely a children's favorite. Other shops
include the Main Street Mercantile which depicts
an early 200thcentury General Store,
The Curiosity Shop which sells almost all types
of Disney merchandise, Town Square Photo which
is a one-stop camera shop selling films and
frames, Midtown Jewelry and Silhouette Shop.
