MOUTHWASHES AND GARGLES

Aromatherapy mouth treatments, mouthwashes and gargles are used for oral hygiene. Aromatherapy mouth treatments are used to overcome a range of problems such as mouth ulcers and gum disease. They are people who used them a daily basis for oral hygiene. Oils such as myrrh, rose, and tea tree are useful for gingivitis while cypress and tea tree oils can assist in healing and preventing bleeding gums.

Myrrh, basil, bergamot and tea tree oils are helpful essential oils for healing and to treat mouth ulcers. Suitable oils can be used either as a mouthwash or gargle or in oil for a gum massage. To make a mouthwash, dissolve three to five drops of oil into a teaspoon of vodka and then stir the mixture into a half-cup of warm distilled water. A drop or two of peppermint oil may be added to improve the flavor.

You are recommended to use them after brushing your teeth. Swish the mouthwash around in your mouth. You may also use a gum-massage oil to supplement the mouthwash. Using a glass bottle with a dropper, you can mix one-fourth of an ounce of a carrier oil with twenty to twenty-five drops of the desired essential oils. You may add one drop of peppermint or fennel for flavor. Before each use, you are advised to shake the bottle several times to mix and then you can rub a few drops onto your gums.
