essential oils? The correct method and ways of
storing essential oils in aromatherapy is very
important. Buying essential oils may be an easy
task but taking care of them may be more difficult
than suggested. You must know the correct way of
keeping essential oils properly. Once you have
bought your essential oils, always remember to
store and use them properly to preserve their
healing properties and it is useful to know that
most oils will keep well for a year or more. It
is recommended to keep your oils in a cool and
dry area in dark glass bottles. It is vital that
you do not allow your oils to stand in a damp
environment or near any light or heat.
Try to avoid
touching the inside of the bottle cap or even
the rim of the bottle or the dropper to your
skin or to any other surface. This step is
essential because it will help prevent
contamination. Remember to uncap your oils only
long enough to release the amount of oil you
need because the oils are extremely volatile and
can evaporate easily.
