Werdhi Budaya Art Centre in Bali is an exciting tourist attraction designed by one of Bali's most famous architect, Ida Bagus Tugur. Located in central Denpasar, this place of interest in Bali is also known as the Taman Werdhi Budaya Arts Centre and has become a busy forum for the performing and fine arts in Indonesia. Besides acting as a cultural function, this huge structure is a showcase for Balinese Temple and Palace Architecture at its best. The open stage Arda Candra with its soaring candi gate, the rococo main Art Museum and Balinese pavilions have become very famous architectural attractions in Indonesia.


The Werdhi Budaya Art Centre has three amaxing Art Galleries and a number of stages, and is only rivaled by Jakarta's Taman Ismail Marzuki as a venue for diverse and fast changing cultural programs. This place is also the home to Bali's Dance Academy (ASTI) which is a tertiary level Conservatorium, Dance and Drama School for traditional Balinese performing arts since 1975. Visitors who have a chance to come here will surely appreciate the unique Balinese arts seen here and this place also hosts the annual Bali Arts Festival which is held from June to July every year in Bali.
