TOURIST ATTRACTIONS IN CENTRAL SULAWESI

INDONESIA

Central Sulawesi province covers an area of 68,088 square kilometers and is bounded in the north by the Sulawesi Sea (Celebes Sea) and the province of Gorontalo and in the south by the province of South Sulawesi and South East Sulawesi. In the west it is surrounded by the Makasar Strait and in the east by Taliabu Island and the Maluku Sea. This part of Indonesia lacks famous tourist attractions and places of interest and is not very popular among foreign visitors.

The climate of Central Sulawesi basically is both hot and humid during the dry season while it usually rains from April to October. The rich cultural legacy of the people of Central Sulawesi and their continued adherence to the ancestral traditions make this province in Indonesia one of the most interesting provinces in Indonesia and also one of the main tourist attractions in Central Sulawesi.
