Travel Insurance that aims at covering
a group of people who are traveling to and from the same destination
at the same time is the Group Holiday Insurance. Examples of groups
traveling together are religious groups, school trips and sports
teams. This is one of the different types of travel insurance
that is made available when there is at least ten travelers or
more. It is something like buying holiday insurance in bulk whereby
you will likely get a discount when you buy in bulk. The more people
are insured under this type of insurance, the cheaper it becomes. An
example is that one person gets insured free out of every ten. Like
any normal holiday insurance, winter sports has to be insured
as an extra. Certain insurance providers will insist that the whole
group travels at the same time. If you have a group travel that goes away
more than once a year, you will have the choice to take out annual
multi-trip insurance. Group Holiday Insurance is useful for
companies who want to insure their staff whereby the company would
only need to buy holiday insurance only once therefore avoiding the
need to arrange cover for every individual journey each staff may
take. |
