It is important for students studying or
traveling overseas to know the insurance coverage their school or
study abroad program provides. Getting insurance for students is
very important because students tend to get themselves into trouble.
Travel insurance is not known to be included in a program's fees and
is totally the student's responsibility. Moreover, students with
health insurance coverage during the academic year are usually not
covered during the summer holidays while local health insured
catered for students does not cover traveling abroad. Because of

International Student Identity Card usually have travel assistance
services but it is not an insurance policy whereby medical expenses
