A fantastic place to
learn about more about one of Johor's popular
handicrafts is at the Aw Pottery factory. Located
at Kampung Macap, Air Hitam, its brick kiln is built according
to a Chinese design. Measuring about fifty
meters long, it can accommodate around two
thousand pieces of pottery at each firing.
Tourists are given an opportunity to go through
the studio behind the showroom to admire the
potters carrying out their daily task. Visitors
too can buy all the pottery displayed at the
Minangkabau showroom. These handicrafts will
make excellent decorations inside your house.
