BANGUNAN SULTAN IBRAHIM

JOHORE / JOHOR , MALAYSIA

Regarded as one of the most interesting heritage buildings of Johore, this massive building sited on Bukit Timbalan makes an arresting picture against the Johor Bahru skyline and it is also one of the oldest buildings in Johore. Tourists will surely notice this imposing building which overlooks the city centre. Located along Jalan Abdul Ibrahim, the building was completed in the year 1942 and the unique feature to note here is the Saracenic character and fine mosaic work in the Grand Hall and during the Japanese Occupation, it was once used to keep provisions and at present, presently it is used as the State Secretariat Building.
