Johor in Malaysia is
known for its traditional handicrafts. There are
tourists who come here that buy nothing else but
handicrafts only. One place that sells beautiful
baskets and unique soft toys is at a shop which
is operated by the Johor Area Rehabilitation
Organisation (JARO) at its building along Jalan
Waterworks.
Another place to buy
interesting souvenirs is at the Sri Ayu Batik
Industries which is located at the Taman Ungku
Tun Aminah. Tourists will find this place more
than satisfying since this place is known for
its batik making, kain songket weaving and
copper tooling. Malaysia is known to sell one of
the highest quality of batik in this region.
