Balai Seni Negeri is a
famous place of interest in Kedah. This State Art
Gallery is a fine-looking colonial building located in
the southern section of the town square of Padang in
Alor Setar.
Visitors coming here will surely admire the various
exhibits displayed here and among the famous items found
here are antiques, artifacts and paintings which are all
locally sourced and also an excellent collection of
Malaysian contemporary art.
