KOTA PERMAI GOLF AND COUNTRY CLUB IN SELANGOR

MALAYSIA

The Kota Permai Golf and Country Club is a well known golf club in Malaysia. Golfers will find this excellent Kota Permai golf course in Selangor very interesting and exciting. Located not to far from Kuala Lumpur, driving along the KESAS Highway will take you to the wonderful Kota Permai Golf and Country Club. This well maintained golf course is designed by the famous Ross Watson whereby the hallmark hole at this course is the 2nd hole, par 4 measuring 339 meters. The uphill finishing par 5, 517 meters too is regarded as a signature hole. One interesting characteristic about this golf course is that it has 77 bunkers which is more than the other golf courses in this region. These bunkers are specially designed to catch any wayward shots which will definitely keep the players very alert as to not fall into the trap but at the same time, golfers will be pleased to know that these bunkers are filled with silica sand which allows rain to go right through to the bottom and thus allows play to progress after a storm.

This golf course is the venue for the Volvo Masters every year and this event always attracts some very big names in the golf world because of the tremendous variety and challenges provided by this golf course. The golf course uses Zoysia for the fairways and Tifdwarf for the greens. This is one of the most popular and famous golf clubs in Malaysia.
