Located on a six acres site at Jalan Temerloh in Taman Tasik Titiwangsa, the National Art Gallery is flanked by the National Theatre and the National Library. It is built with aesthetics and functionality in mind, the art gallery creates a space for the preservation, development, exploration and experimentation of the various facets of art in Malaysia and it is very popular among art lovers. There are a number of galleries housing various permanent and temporary exhibitions whereby works of famous international artists are also being displayed here from time to time and thus making this one of the most famous art galleries in Southeast Asia.

 

Amenities available include a creative centre, a sculpture garden, a photography and graphics studio, an auditorium, a library, a restoration space, a book shop and a cafe and if you are interested in the art works by Malaysian artists, sculptors and designers, then this is the place to visit. This tourist attraction is very popular with children since this place also conducts symposiums and art classes for children.
