 The
National Palace, also known as Istana Negara, is the official residence of His Majesty,
the Yang di Pertuan Agong, the King of Malaysia. This
attraction is located on a hillock at Jalan Istana, just
outside the city center.
The extensive grounds is
enhanced by immaculate lawns and colorful gardens and
has become a major tourist attraction. This place of
interest in Kuala Lumpur is also the venue for official functions and
ceremonies. Visitors can witness the changing of the
guards daily.
