Tourists will surely take
pleasure in walking on the beautifully landscaped
Malacca Butterfly Farm which is located within the
highly popular Air Keroh area in Melaka. There are more
then two hundred types of colorful butterflies found
here with many species only seen in this region. There
is also a reptile enclosure which boasts of an excellent
collection of lizards, scorpions, snakes and spiders.
Visitors arriving here will be awed by its size since
this butterfly farm is one of the biggest netted
butterfly parks and insect gardens in Malaysia whereby
among the popular species seen here are the Raja Brooke
and Birdwing species. Also seen here is an insect museum
displaying an impressive collection of over four hundred
insect specimens.
