One interesting place of
interest in Melaka is the History Museum which allows
visitors to learn more about the history of this
historical town through its lithographs, maps, oil
paintings and photographs. Some excellent exhibits here
include authentic historical artefacts from the Dutch
and Portuguese era besides from the famous Baba and
Nyonya era in which Melaka is well known for. Other
remarkable items on display include ancient money,
stamps and exhibits on the making of the traditional
Malay weapon called keris.
