Tourists visiting Melaka
will have the chance to see the old Melaka Kampung which is
a traditional Malay village seen in Malacca. This tourist attraction is
located at Kampung Morten which is right next to the
famous Melaka River. There are guides which will take
show you around the Malay kampung house which is also known
as Villa Sentosa. The houses seen here are built
following the standard design which are made up of a
wooden structure on short stilts with a special tiled
front stairway that goes up to the front verandah.
