Covering a vast area of
Jalan Pantai (on the road to Jelebu), this livestock
station in Seremban is dedicated to the breeding and
farming of deer, ostrich and other animals. As ostrich
farming is growing in popularity whereby this breeding centre
offers a detailed insight into the rearing of these
giant birds from Africa. The farm is located in
the Veterinary Department's Resource Centre and has
since become a main tourist attraction in Negeri
Sembilan.
For more exotic animals
visit the Jelita Ostrich Show Farm, 10 km down Jalan
Pantai. Visitors can also try taking a ride on an
ostrich and this park is popular with the children and
visitors are given opportunities to take photographs
with the animals.
