 Discover an exotic
agro-tourism experience at the Tropical Fruit Farm in
Teluk Bahang. Located at Batu, 18, Jalan Teluk Bahang,
and run by the Tropical Agro Farm Company, the
farm spreads over 25 acres of hilly terrain,
the farm contains fruit orchards that produce over 200
tropical and sub-tropical fruit varieties.
Some of the well
known Malaysian fruits seen here include
durians, Penang Tropical Fruit Farm guavas, lychees, rambutans, mangoes and several lesser
known jungle varieties. Instead of going to
different places to buy popular tropical fruits,
most of the famous Malaysian fruits are being
planted here. The farm arranges
several tours daily for visitors who would like
to view the orchards and sample the huge variety
of locally grown fruits. Tourists will also get
first hand experience to watch different methods
of planting fruit trees.
