The latest tourist
attraction in Perak is the northern region's first water
theme park at Bukit Merah Lake. The theme park which is
part of a 600 hectare lake town resort development
offers various games and recreation facilities for the
whole family. It is a mere 35 minutes drive from Penang
Bridge and about an hour's drive from Ipoh and it is
very popular among the locals. Instead of traveling to
Kuala Lumpur for water sports activities, residents in
Penang and Perak now choose the Bukit Merah Laketown as
their top holiday destination.
