Started in 1880, the Taiping
Lake Gardens are the earliest and among the most
beautiful lake gardens in Malaysia. The large lake, lush
greenery and diverse flowering plants are a major
tourist attraction to visitors. It is a popular place for those
who prefer a quiet stroll and a common sight during the
morning session are many groups of elderly people
carrying out their daily exercise routine.
