A beautiful island
located off Sandakan is the Berhala Island (Pulau
Berhala). Easily
reached using motor launches, this tourist
attraction in the Sabah waters is a
popular place for swimming as well as for
picnicking. One of the attractions here is its
lighthouse which is situated on the highest point of
the island and thus offering visitors some very
remarkable view.
