Kota Kinabalu, the capital
city of the state, is the modern gateway to the rest of Sabah
and also the most important place of interest in
Sabah.
Direct flights between KK (the name by which Kota
Kinabalu is fondly called) and the regional capitals
of Kuala Lumpur, Singapore, Tokyo, Seoul, Taipei,
Kaoshiung, Hong Kong, Brunei, Manila and Cebu, make
Sabah and its tourists attractions easily accessible to travelers everywhere.
Kota Kinabalu, used to be known Jesselton, has become a
very famous travel destination and top tourist area in Sabah.
Largely destroyed during
the Second World War (WW II), Kota Kinabalu has since developed
into a thriving modern city with main roads being

European and Malay culture besides the unique
traditional Chinese shophouses, interesting market
areas mix among new shopping arcades.

business conference whereby the hotels that are
located right in the heart of the central business
district gives you complete convenience without
missing out on easily accessible tourist attractions.

are both clean and comfortable at this capital city
of Sabah. A famous place for sightseeing, no wonder
Kota Kinabalu is also called 'singgah mata'
with its incredible scenery and coral studded sea.
