For those who wants to
learn and see more of the traditional lifestyle of
the Kadazans, then they should visit the tourist town of Penampang. This Kadazan village is located about
fifteen kilometers from Kota Kinabalu and it has
since become a popular tourist area. The Kadazans
are known as the number one rice growers in this
region and they are sure to celebrate the harvest
festivals which will last for several days annually
in they hope that they will get a good harvest.
During this period, they will make their own unique
rice wine which is called the Tapai. To join in a
happy atmosphere and also for some good drinking
session, then come to this tourist attraction during the annual harvest
festivals.
