GUNUNG MULU NATIONAL PARK

Gunung Mulu National Park, about 45 minutes flight form Miri, is one of Sarawak's greatest tourist destinations and it is also the largest national park in the state. The famous limestone caves here include the world's largest cave passage, the largest natural rock chamber in  the world, the longest cave system in Southeast Asia whereby the spectacular Mulu Caves and the Pinnacles at Gunung Api are its major drawcard. This famous tourist attraction is unique in itself because it is made up of fifteen different types of forest and has more than one hundred and fifty species of orchids and many different species of pitcher plant.
