When traveling along
the Federal Highway from Shah Alam to Klang,
visitors will notice a towering silver-colored
Keris Semenanjung on the left hand side of the
road just before the Bukit Raja Industrial
Estate. The specially designed Keris Monument in
Selangor is a memorial erected to
commemorate the Silver Jubilee of the Sultan of Selangor's installation in 1985.
This place of interest is also a major landmark
in Selangor. The keris is a
wavy-bladed Malay dagger used by warriors of
old and this ancient weapon is very well
respected tool by the Malays.
