On a landscaped hill overlooking Shah Alam town centre is the towering 24-storey Bangunan Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz Shah, built with elements of traditional Bugis design. It houses the State Secretariat and administrative offices of the state government in attractive, scenic surroundings whereby important decisions concerning the running of the state are being carried out here. This historic building is also being classified as a heritage building and has also become a famous attraction in Selangor.
