Sunway Lagoon Theme
Park is a
former tin-mine that has been transformed into a
major amusement park. There are several
attractions in the complex including water sport
facilities, roller coasters, amusement arcades,
restaurants and recreational facilities which
makes it an ideal place for a family excursion.
As Malaysia's
premier theme park, it provides non stop fun and
adventure to all visitors. Among its attractions
are the Adventure Park whereby you can enjoy the
breathtaking view of the entire lagoon when
walking along the world's longest suspension
bridge, the Waterpark, a fabulous man-made ocean
of delights whereby visitors can grab a board
and ride the waves at the world's largest
surf-wave pool where a seventy five feet high
volcano erupts to announce the waves and the
Fort Lagoon Wild Wild West whereby you can bump
your way down the raging white water of the
Grand Canyon River Rapids.
Besides this theme
park, other main features here found in the
Sunway Lagoon Resort are the Sunway Lagoon
Resort Hotel which is a five star resort hotel
with 450 extravagant rooms and suites and the
Sunway Pyramid which is a themed shopping and
entertainment mall with a unique Egyptian
inspired facade with an imposing lion guarding
the entrance. This famous tourist attraction can
be considered as the most interesting and unique
theme park ever built in Malaysia.
