The Tin Museum in
Selangor, built in 1856, was originally known as the Gedung
Raja Abdullah. Exhibits in this tourist
attraction trace the
history of Selangor's tin mining industry and
the role tin mining had in the development and
success of the state. It is believed that
immigrants from the Chinese mainland come here
during the boom in the tin trade in the 19th
century.
