Sekayu Recreational Forest
is located at Kuala Berang which is about sixty
kilometers on the southwestern section of Kuala
Terengganu. Among the attractions found here at this
interesting place of interest in Terengganu include a
bird park, tropical fruit orchard, mini zoo and a resthouse at
the base of the spectacular Sekayu Waterfall which can
be seen dropping over seven cascades. The Sekayu Falls are
actually part of a huge rural park whereby swimming is
allowed in the waterfalls. Gazebos are being provided
for family coming for picnics together with public
facilities for bathing and changing. There are various
day trips being organized by travel agents in the city
bringing visitors to this place of interest in the east
coast of Malaysia.
