Cabilao Island is
located southwest of Pangangan Island across the Bohol
Strait whereby tourists come here for a perfect
diving opportunity to witness the superb
megafauna. This area has some of the best diversities in the
Philippines and is particularly noted for
Hammerhead Sharks in the deeper waters off its
northwest point, an exiting dive for the more
experienced.

HOW TO GET THERE
The closest airport
is at Tagbilaran in Bohol and there are three
times a week flights which will take an hour
long to fly. It is another half an hour by taxi, jeepney or tricycle to Panglao Island.
Bohol is readily
accessible by sea. High speed ferries run
between Cebu City and Tagbilaran from 7.00 am to
5.00 pm. The trip takes one and a half hours
long. This makes getting to Bohol from other
dive sites in the Visayans quite easy and you
can avoid time wasting.
