The famous Asian
Civilisations Museum Empress Place, located on 1 Empress
Place and along the Singapore River, is a window
to the ancestral heritage of Singapore which

East, Southeast, South and West Asia. This
flagship museum, opened in March 2003, brings
together 5,000 years of Asian art and history
and if your cup of tea is colonial relics, then
this state-of-the-art museum is definitely the
place to visit. Occupying the grand Empress
Place building, there are eleven
thematic galleries displaying Photo: Asian
Civilisations Museum different aspects
of the unique Asian culture with exhibits ranging from the
Islamic world to the wonders of China. This
famous museum is one of the most famous tourists
attraction and also the largest museum in
Singapore.
